Here is an opportunity of a
lifetime! You are looking at
a 1 owner from new 325
original mile COPO Camaro!
Purchased new in June of
1969 from Pine Belt
Chevrolet in Lakewood, NJ.
This very special COPO was
specially ordered in a non
Chevrolet color of Windward
Blue, a color commonly seen
on the Pontiac GTO's of the
day. The original owner,
having worked for GM
himself, was fond of that
color and decided his High
Performance COPO would be no
other color! As with many
COPO Camaro's, options were
at a premium. Options were
limited to the absolute
necessities, a close ratio
M22 4 speed transmission and
4.10 rear end being the most
important. Power disc
brakes, Comfortilt Steering
Wheel, and F70 x 14 White
Lettered tires being the
others. The original owner
used the car as a weekend
drag racer, with it never
really seeing any "street
use". The car was repainted
years ago when he decided it
was time to put it back to
how it was when he bought
it. Unfortunately, he would
never see it finished. After
the original owners death,
the car was purchased from
his widow after 39 years of
ownership and sent to a very
well respected Camaro
restorer in New York. There
the highly original car was
given a careful detailing to
put the original parts back
to their original glory. The
original shocks and springs,
as well as the original
steering wheel. This COPO
still retains the factory
original drive train which
was gone through. Other
original components include
the entire interior, all
glass, headlights, and sheet
metal, just to name a few.
This one of a kind COPO is
fully documented with the
original Protect-O-Plate,
original Car Invoice from
Pine Belt Chevrolet, the
original Title, and the Ed
Cunneen COPO Connection
inspection report. You will
not find a better COPO out
there for sale that has what
this car has going for it!
In a nut shell, 1 owner, 325
miles, documented, COPO!
Will be
featured on
the November cover of
